First, let us define the words that many of the pseudo intellectual, double-speak crowd use without even a clue as to their meaning. While we are at it we might just as well define a couple of applicable words/phrases that these intellectual giants may have forgotten.

1. An agreement to perform together an illegal, wrongful, or subversive act.
2. A group of conspirators.
3. Law. An agreement between two or more persons to commit a crime or accomplish a legal purpose through illegal action.
4. A joining or acting together, as if by sinister design: a conspiracy of wind and tide that devastated coastal areas.

1. A tentative explanation for an observation, phenomenon, or scientific problem that can be tested by further investigation.
2. Something taken to be true for the purpose of argument or investigation; an assumption.

n., pl. -ries.
1. A set of statements or principles devised to explain a group of facts or phenomena, especially one that has been repeatedly tested or is widely accepted and can be used to make predictions about natural phenomena.
The Scientific Method:
Scientific method refers to bodies of techniques for investigating phenomena, acquiring new knowledge, or correcting and integrating previous knowledge. To be termed scientific, a method of inquiry must be based on gathering observable, empirical and measurable evidence subject to specific principles of reasoning. A scientific method consists of the collection of data through observation and experimentation, and the formulation and testing of hypotheses.
First a hypothesis is formed which might explain our observations. Quite often several hypothesis may be formed and as each is tested and those which fail the applied tests are discarded and those which pass the tests are farther tested until finally a theory (basically a hypothesis that can and has been tested and does adequately explain the observed phenomenon and has not been disproved) is proffered. This explanation is now referred to as a Theory.
Conspiracy Theorists
What or who is a conspiracy theorist?
To begin with, what these pseudo-intellectuals probably really mean to say is conspiracy hypothetist – but that would detract from their evident ignorance, which they wear as if it were a badge of honor or a virtue. The use of the term “theory” is contrary to the point they are trying to make! Using the term “theory” indicates that an explanation of the event (hypothesis) has been tested and DOES explain the event. That is what makes it a T H E O R Y! A conspiracy theroist is one who has actually looked at the evidence and actually applied the scientific method – as opposed to one who talks about something without engaging their brain.
So what is this “Conspiracy Theory”?
The Conspiracy:
Two or more criminals form an unholy union for the purpose of committing a crime. In the case of 9-11 it seems obvious that it took more than one person to plan and execute the crime. Just for the record – it was a CRIME.
Apply the scientific method:
The observation of a crime (9-11 presented a very observable and graphic phenomena) offers the basis to apply the scientific method to try to determine what really happened or did not happen. For instance we observe that the fires in the structures were oxygen starved and not hot enough to melt steel beams and that when they fell down they did so in a manner suggestive of planed demolition rather than collapse. In fact our senses are overwhelmed by observations, that if we are to believe the mainstream media and our governments explanation, defy both logic and science. So begins the formulation of hypothesis which might actually explain what we observe. This body of evidence has now been tested and the hypothesis now has the status of being a tested theory.
Even though the government attempted to obliterate the crime scene and all evidence (An unconscionable act from the viewpoint of any investigator) there were some pieces of evidence which slipped through their slimy fingers and have landed in the hands of independent investigators. In the case of the WTC towers there is now incontrovertible physical evidence that high tech explosives were used to bring the buildings down.
BUSTED – you bastard murderers are busted! Part of the evidence involves your “carbon footprint”. How ironic! How appropriate! The body of evidence which supports this “conspiracy theory” is gargantuan. This was one of the most video and media documented events in history- do a little research of your own.
Here is a neat video to get you started. The BBC forgot to take into account the correct time difference and so made the announcement too early. Clearly some one knew WTC 7 was going to collapse BEFORE it actually happened.

All that one needs do to revert the “Conspiracy Theory” to the rank of “Conspiracy Hypothesis” is disprove the theory. In the case of 9-11 the only “Conspiracy Theory” that has been disproved (by the laws of both logic and physics) is the one offered by the US government and propped up by implausible creations such as the Discovery channels “proof by animation” pancake debacle or Popular Mechanics (PM) pseudo scientific 911 debunking piece [PM = Hearst = "Yellow Journalism" (look it up)] Since these so-called theorys never passed even the most basic tests they never actually advanced beyond the hypothesis stage. The actual government investigation never even pretended to explain the events – pathetic!

Call and write your elected representatives. Let them know that you are watching what they do.
Start and sign petetions to have wrongdoers removed from office and prosecuted. Real petitions – not those you get in your email and circulate the web – they are a useless waste of bandwidth and are NOT valid.
Support and join those who are already standing up. Oath-Keepers for instance.

So, what is the big deal about 9-11?
Well the big deal is that I believe that 9-11 was very much like the young punk/thug on the street slapping the old shop keeper around. He is trying to find out how much abuse he will take and if the shop keeper shows no signs of resistance then he and his gang will start down a path which includes plunder, pillage and rape. America is that shop keeper.
A young man by the name of Kevin sums it all up in a way that makes sense to me.
An older man whose name you might recognize puts it bluntly.
